MCI's paper and photograph conservators work on paper materials including art on paper, books, manuscripts, and library material. MCI's conservators also work on photographic materials which include media in film and composite objects like paper prints and albums. Conservation activities include examination, documentation, treatment, and preventive care, supported by research and education.
