Recently yellowing of textiles, particularly of white goods, in storage has frequently been the reason for complaints. Research as to the causes of the yellowing of textiles during storage has proved the secondary influence of nitrogen oxide in the air. The following paper shows possible causes of warehouse yellowing , but also the prophylactic measures that can be taken by the finisher to prevent this phenomenon.
