Abstract
A new NiCrMo alloy (Nicrofer 5923hMo) is compared to previously developed Nicrofer alloys in corrosion environments. The resistence of the new alloy to pitting and crevice corrosion is excellent under standardised and intensified corrosion conditions. It is resistant to sensitization so it may be applied without heat treatment not decreasing its corrosion resistance.
