Abstract
Part 2 of 5 parts. Studies of the setting of cements to which various retarders (M, R, ZuSiF<sub>6</sub>, H<sub>2</sub>SiF<sub>6</sub>) have been added at various concentrations at 20°C and 95-98per thousand RH. Setting was found to be retarded by every retarder containing R. The influence of concentration is similar in all three cements. Retardation by silicofluoride was diminished in presence of H<sub>2</sub>SiF<sub>6</sub> for the cements tested. The effect of retardent N was tested at 95-98per thousand RH.
