The paper object is laid face up, on wet sheets of Multisorb (wet strength absorbent paper), and is lightly sprayed to relax it; is transferred to sheets soaked in enzyme solution, that are maintained at the proper temperature on the hot table, and changed frequently; and is rinsed by being placed on water-soaked sheets. A final boost in temperature denatures the enzymes.
