Abstract
Bone was analyzed to find the correlation between chemical composition and depth of the layer under the surface. It was expected to find an increasing degradation according to an increasing depth. However, a deteriorated state alternated with those in good condition. Good preservation of bone is apparently correlated with cold climatic phases, while poor preservation is correlated with warmer phases at the end of the last glaciation.
