The specific heat of a series of Roman and other ancient silver copper coins dating from the 6th century BC to about 250 AD were measured. Shows the usefulness of technique as a non-destructive method for analyzing those coins where destructive chemical analysis is not desired and interpretation of neutron activation analysis data difficult.
