The author describes a system devised for Sunderland Museum. Photographs illustrate the system of mounting the birds on boards with brass L hooks on the back which hook into slotted sliding screens. Also well illustrated is the dust-proofing method using rubber seals. All panels and birds are numbered and card indexed, which makes retrieval straight forward.
