Abstract
Amber exposed to air and light decomposes. From older investigations it is already known that decomposition is accompanied by an uptake of oxygen. During a period of about 14 years decomposition could be observed quantitatively. Solubility increased up to 40% and among the soluble substances about 65% terpenes -- partly with an inside folded isopropyl group -- could be identified. -- AATA
