Abstract
This report is about the method of conservation of sarcophagi in polychromed wood, of steles, of small boxes for funeral figurines, and of sculptures of ancient Egypt. Synthetic polymer solutions and mixtures of wax-resin were used. The work was continued at the Restoration Laboratory of monument painting at the Hermitage.
