This is the revision and updating of Kodak's Preservation of Photographs (F30). It contains information about collections management, identification of both historic and modern photographic materials and problems related to their deterioration, information on the manufacture of photographic materials, standards related to testing procedures and storage for photographs, information on the structure of both black and white and color photographic materials. In addition, there is a long section on storage requirements-materials, furniture, enclosures and display requirements for photographs. There is also a section on copying photographs. A final section has restoration treatments for photographs of various types. One appendix covers the formulae for treatments listed in the book; the other deals with sources and suppliers for the products.
