This booklet, intended by the authors as the first in a series, includes a survey of Dard Hunter's works, discussion of his two handmade paper mills, and the history of the development of the Dard Hunter Paper Museum at the Institute of Paper Chemistry Fifty photographic plates of watermarks follow, which were either created and made by Dard Hunter, created by D. Hunter and made by someone else, or created by another but modified by Dard Hunter for his use.
