Proposed Papyrus Restoration Centre, to be located in Cairo, will establish techniques of papyrus restoration, (utilizing fresh papyrus pulp and fresh papyrus strips), train papyrus restorers, and collect microfilms or photocopies of all existing papyri and make facsimile replicas of deteriorating papyri for a specialized museum. -- AATA
