Abstract
Publishes for the first time excerpts from architectural sketches dating from 1751-1765 that for a short time were on deposit by Graf Erbach in the Kreisarchiv Biberach. To the previously known decorators Johann Georg Ulbhoer (stucco artist), Franz Xaver II Schmuzer (stucco artist), Franz Georg II Hermann (painter) and Josef Gabler (organ builder), the names of the stucco artists Lorenz Walser and Placidus Doll, the painters Hans Joerg and Franz Hoelzle, and the names of many dealers, merchants, stone masons, etc, can now be added. The color sketches give us an understanding of which colors were used in the 18th century. -- AATA
