A Mycenaean chamber tomb in Athens contained a Canaanite jar shown by neutron activation analysis to have been imported from the area of Dor (Israel). A Mycenaean jug partly made in Cypriote base-ring technique was analyzed by optical emission spectroscopy. There is a reasonable match for the competition with base-ring ware from Arpera Chiflik in Cyprus. -- AATA
