The Service of Monuments and Sites of the Canton of Geneva in Switzerland has published a series of information sheets for institutions and individuals confronted with restoration problems. The sheet on the transformation of old buildings explains procedures for approaching the administration, the analysis of the building and its environment, the outlook that should prevail in regard to transformation and the possibility of reversing the solutions adopted. -- AATA
