Abstract
Report on the conservation of sandstone decorations on buildings: consolidation, cleaning and impregnation with silicone-acrylic resin. Some problems were met with the ancient additions and fillings made with lime and gypsum. The gypsum technology and trade in Bologna during the 18th century are described. See also AATA 19-1790.
