Three textiles found in Tibet, Denmark, and Bramberg share similar motifs and colors that are related to Islam's 12th century and are made of silk and gold threads. The textiles are lampas weaves and were probably produced in one Central Asian location. The weave patterns and use of gold threads wrapped around cotton threads suggest that the textiles were produced prior to the Mongol conquest and thus prior to the changes in silk design that are associated with the Mongolian period.
