Abstract
An inventory of wallpapers in Italy enabled conservators to learn about and systematically analyze their state of conservation as well as to throw light on major problems. As it was found that these problems were largely due to the variety of mounting systems used, research was undertaken to come up with better adapted products. Also discussed are the testing of two new adhesives, Vinnapas-dispersion EAF 60® and Vinnapas-dispersion AF 75®, under controlled conditions.
