Abstract
This paper is a transcript of a speech delivered at the Inaugural Meeting of the Corrosion Group in 1951. The object of the lecture was to increase interest in the subject of metallic corrosion. Topics discussed are: corrosion of marine condenser tubes; prevention of oxidation and tarnishing; protection of steel from corrosion by metal spraying; use of zinc rich paints; and bronze disease.
