A systematic study of printing ink pigments, organic, and inorganic, has been carried out. Artificial ageing was effected in a fade-o-meter. Inks such as those based on cadmium red, phthalocyanine blue and green, were strongly light fast, while those containing such pigments as benzidine yellow faded badly. -- AATA
