Abstract
Acid mordant dyes such as Chrome Cyanine FR and Chrome Black ET concentrate prevented the growth of fungi on a medium. Irgalan Yellow GRL effectively controls fungal growth. Nevertheless, the dyed cloth normally shows the growth of fungi. An excess of dyeing causes little loss in strength. Microbial damage was observed by scanning electron microscopy. -- AATA
