Abstract
Based on experiments described in this article, the author thinks that Phostoxin should be given preference to methyl bromide for fumigation of flour. The Phostoxin method is by far safer and more easily carried out. The experiments showed that the insects in question will be killed in all their stages of development. Technical personnel can be fully informed of Phostoxin application techniques in one training session.
