Abstract
Not all colours fade in the same way. Under the influence of light a dyestuff will eventually desintegrate, however after a long time of exposure there will be less difference in colour change than in the beginning. When testing dyestuffs for use in restoration it is important to test not only the primary colours but also their mixtures.
