Studies reveal that nylon/cotton blends can be bleached in aqueous solutions of sodium dichloroisocyanurate and optimum conditions are determined for the bleaching of knitted cotton/nylon 6 fabrics. Results show that the degradation of the nylon is insignificant even when bleaching at elevated temperatures in neutral or weakly-alkaline solutions. -- AATA
