Abstract
The introduction of Dunova acrylic fibers was the result of investigations carried out by Bayer into developing a fiber which exhibited the comfort properties of natural fibers and the advantages of synthetic fibers. The fiber has an inner part consisting of fine capillaries, surrounded by an outer wall. Light-weight fabrics can be made from it, which are particularly suitable for sports clothing. The fiber was previously designated ATF 1017 fiber. -- AATA
