The proceedings of the conference on alloys produced 1900-1950 are published here, with some additional related papers. Five papers deal with copper alloys, including brass, bronze, nickel silver and manganese bronze, and several are devoted to each of zinc or aluminum alloys, and iron and steel. The history of production and use prior to 1900 is briefly mentioned for metals which were more recently isolated, e.g., magnesium. Tungsten, nickel, and the general availability and use of a wide range of alloys are discussed. -- AATA
