Abstract
A pigment printing system for use with wool has been developed by the CSIRO Division of Textile Industry, based on an established method for cotton, polyester and cotton/polyester fabrics. A mixture of pigment, polymeric binder, crosslinking agent and thickener is printed onto chlorinated wool fabric by conventional flator rotary-screen equipment. The method is particularly suitable for curtains, due to the high degree of lightfastness achieved. -- AATA
