Abstract
An intensive conservation program was carried out in the 1960's on a collection of lead coins from India. After ten years some of the objects had started to re-corrode. An investigation into the storage conditions, together with the treatments and protective coatings used in the conservation process, was carried out. Each of the various materials used in the new storage of these items was tested to see if they would contribute to future deterioration of the lead objects. Photographs, references.
