Abstract
The Saskatchewan Museums Association (S.M.A.) assembled environmental monitoring kits to measure relative humidity, temperature, light and ultraviolet radiation in collection exhibition and storage. S.M.A. also developed a basic detailed operating manual for the equipment. After brief training in a regional workshop, participants borrowed the kits to check conditions in their museums. Borrowers supplied S.M.A. with confidential copies of the data collected. The returned kits were calibrated and used in subsequent cycles of workshops and loans.
