Abstract
The Alaska State Museum has developed a statewide Conservation Program which providesservices to local, non-profit museums on-site inspection and assessment of collections, assistance with the development of conservation priorities, preventive conservation education, environmental monitoring kit, examination and treatment of ethnographic objects at the State Museum's Conservation Laboratory, and referrals to competent conservators or regional laboratories The Alaska State Museum is committed to continuing and improving upon statewide conservation services.
