Abstract
A 30th Dynasty Egyptian mummy (ca. 380 B.C.) had a large number of associated amulets when excavated by Flinders Petrie in 1902. The amulets fell into two groups. Results of identification of the materials of those in the inner group (about 54) are presented, along with Petrie's original identitications. Methods used were specific gravity measurement and x-ray diffraction from the surface of the whole artifact.
