Some 1200 mounted birds were prepared for display by cleaning and restoration, with a similar number being placed in store. Methods of improving lighting and dust conditions in storage and on display are described. Fumigation of the collection with phosphene preceded cleaning with solvents and detergents. Repairs to specimens involved reinforcement and reshaping. -- AATA
