Archival materials and services could be more readily available if several small archives formed a cooperative. Some materials are only available from the manufacturers in large quantities and several possibilities e.g. lamination and microfilming are only economical when the apparatus is used full time. These proposals would mean greater standardization of the materials used in archives, the quality of which should be regularly evaluated. -- AATA
