Abstract

The problem posed by the Qutb Minar is related to its foundation. The original foundation with cavities is considered to be insufficient for the safety of the structure. The author discusses both the various investigations conducted to find out the condition of the materials vis-Ã -vis the structure and the grouting operations executed to strengthen the foundation of the minar.
