Abstract
Long distance tin trade was feasible and necessary. Tin brought to metallurgical center near copper source. Some copper trade. Cassiterite veins and alluvial deposits. Documentary evidence of tin trade, difference between bronze and classical age. First known bronze age ingots of tin from haifa. Clay vases covered with tinfoil in late bronze aegean.
