Accelerated growth testing of monomers, polymers, and latices containing chemically-bound fungicides demonstrated that the concept of polymer-anchoring biocides has promise. Several of these systems were shown to control microorganism growth in minimum inhibitory concentration tests using both agar dilution and aqueous nutrient broth methods. -- AATA
