Color characteristics of projected images may be different when projected by two equal slide projectors. The projection lamp type, age, and the voltage at which it operates, all can affect projected color to a visible degree. The light source itself is the villain. It is recommended to keep the optics clean, lamps classified, and voltage standardized to help this problem.
