Abstract
The studies done at ambient pressure have shown a normal behavior of diffusion in Mg: self-diffusion frequency factors near one. Although studies under pressure do not make it possible in all rigor to conclude as to the mechanisms brought into play, the delta volume found to be on the order of omega in an indication of vacancy diffusion.
