Abstract
The author describes the construction of a sealed display cabinet to provide a controlled environment for a 15th century South German School wood panel entitled The Martyrdom of St. Catherine and St. Stephen. The specially designed cabinet incorporates silica gel, a circulating fan activated by a humidistat, a hygrometer and miscellaneous fittings. A relative humidity level of 66% is maintained. -- AATA
