Abstract
An equimolecolar mixture of ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate is used for impregnation of stone. Influence of degree of impregnation and concentration of initiator is negligible. Temperatures higher than 65 degrees c are necessary to obtain good results. Hardness test and porosity measurement are used to evaluate results. Problem of cracks. Defects of room temperature polymerization.
