ICS Texicon's Superflash 500 spectrophotometer has two beams with d/8 degrees measuring geometry and a 152 millimeter Ulbricht globe. The instrument, used in the laboratory or online, operates automatically by reflectance or transmission for both liquid and solid media in a range of wavelengths from 360 to 750 nanometers. The Super Match 6 color match prediction system is capable of recipe formulation, computation of dye quantities on both a laboratory and production scale, searching and sorting, and color on screen. The spectrophotometer measuring head is either the Color Eye 3000 or the Superflash 500. The color screen gives a logic display of the color trend and the reflectance curves.
