Abstract
This article presents the results of collaboration between three institutions in assessing the current role of pressure mounting in textile conservation, examining techniques primarily developed in North America using this system. Preliminary results recording the microclimate of a pressure mount are reported: proposals for further research are highlighted. -- SCMRE
