A study was made of calcium and zinc molybdates to determine their corrosion inhibiting properties. In some instances these pigments, either alone or with a topcoat, exhibited anti-corrosion properties which equalled or exceeded those of red lead under the test conditions. Suggestions for possible uses of these materials are given.
