Abstract
A red pigment, 1,2-bis(6-nitroquinoxalin-2-yl)hydrazine, and a yellow pigment, N,N'-bis(6-nitroquinoxalin-2-yl)piperazine, were synthesised and tested. Both exhibited good lightfastness and thermal stability, and the yellow pigment good solvent resistance as well. -- AATA
