Abstract
A Roman bronze helm was found in 1981 at the Flórián Square, Budapest, during current excavations. The archaeologist immediately asked for restorers' help, so that the valuable find could be excavated in the optimal way. The collaboration led to a successful restoration of the helm described in details. -- AATA
