Abstract
Man's step-by-step perception of color is outlined, starting with the emission of visible radiation from the sun to the reflection of the non-absorbed radiation to the eye of an observer. When the primary light absorber is chlorophyll, the reflected radiation will principally be composed of wavelengths in the range of 490-575 nanometers, and the final signal will be registered as green. -- AATA
