Abstract
The monumental complex of Monzon Castle (Huesca Province, Aragon) is a unique example of monolithic heterogeneity and strata multiplicity. This collection of historic buildings has frequently suffered restorations along XVIII and XIX Centuries, but in spite of that the Castle is still showing parts of Muslim and Medieval fortress. For all of that, it would be essential to plan the guideline for the maintenance of the complexity and the richness of this polyhedric set of buildings. The Castle Masterplan has been hold up for guarantee a strategic processes, balanced between conservation/adaptation/project. The strategic horizon of the planning is pointing by management know-how and foresight actions.
