Over this last year a piece of research is being carried out at the IRP, focusing on the application of new methodologies for classifying and spreading information about disperse heritage. The main aim of this project is to further a comprehensive interpretation of the historical-artistic heritage of European civilizations at present being exhibited in public and private museum settings. The intention is to use different technologies for this purpose: 3D laser scanner surveys, a database, real-time programs which comprehensively facilitate high-quality tools in the Cultural Assets sectors. At the same time a constant interactive update of the data will be generated in parallel with the research gradually being done in the different fields.
