The author describes the method of conservation devised for conserving glass-inlaid bronzes, and unfolding and cleaning inscribed curses (scrolls). The opaque red glass from the bronzes was analyzed in the British Museum Research Laboratory as were the corrosion products from the lead scrolls. Displaced pieces of glass were consolidated with poly(vinyl acetate). The inscriptions on the lead scrolls were molded with RTV silicone rubber.
